But despite the names that sound silly and the magical location, Wicked Tells the story of a bravely woman standing for what is right at the cost of her own reputation and happiness. For Wicked Looks like a sugary pudding of film, it provides enough heartfelt food to think.
In this animated feature film based on a popular series of children’s books, an assistant robot called Roz (Lupita nyong’o) gets lost in the forest. Through a series of accidents, she becomes responsible for Gosling Brightbill orphaned (Connor’s kit) and goes from unmistakable automation to a loving mother. With the help of a clever fox (Pedro Pascal) and an entertaining cast of forest creatures (Catherine O’HaraMark Hamill and Bill Nighy In a few of the other stars borrowing their voices to this film), Roz helps Brightbill learn to ascend – literally and metaphorically.
It’s easy to see why this film was nominated for an Oscar for the best animated feature film. The images are The wild robot Will take your breath away – the backgrounds are similar to a watercolor painting while the animal and robot characters are expressive and lifelike. Roz’s dedication to her accusation, along with her frustration with the undoubted task, is sure to resonate with parents, while the action and comedy will certainly entertain children. It will warm even the most robotic hearts.
