So far in 2025, NetflixOriginal films have not reached the same height as the Streamer has previously reached.
That may be because the Oscar bait movies are held back until the last part of the year. If that is the case, the list of Netflix’s best original films will look very different at the end of 2025.
In the meantime, Watch with us have selected seven best Netflix films 2025 so far.
Admittedly, this list is an act-over, but the genre that Netflix does best. There are also some comedy and romance options, as well as two standout animated selection.
Summer is still in full swing, but it is difficult to venture outside when Netflix is streaming so many great movies. After extended absences for various reasons, Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz Brought their spouse back in Back in action. The duo plays Matt and Emily, a pair of CIA agents who forgoke their own deaths after someone turned off their enemies during their final mission.
In the present, Emily and Matt are married to Alice’s parents (McKenna Roberts) and leo (Jackson rylan). The children don’t know anything about who their parents used to be, but they have an accident course when Emily and Matt’s cover identities are blown and the whole family is targeted by an old opponent.

Eric is so much about keeping Olivia from making a mistake that he almost realizes that Italy also has a great deal of appeal. And once Eric meets the Mayor of the town, Francesca (Violante Placido), It is inevitable that the romantic sparks fly between them. It’s a charming love story, though quite predictable.

5. ‘Devil’s Kpop Hunters (2025)

Kpop Devil Hunters Maybe hit Netflix’s most amazing smash a year. Despite the title, this is not a production of South Korea, although it lamps the way Kpop groups and Korean TV shows have become a world -wide phenomenon. The story revolves around a popular Kpop action, Huntr/X, whose members doubles as demon hunters when they are not on stage.
However, the lead vocalist, Rumi (Arden cho), secretly in the demon part of herself, and she is afraid to reveal the truth to her fellow. Meanwhile, the Demons discover that they can front their own Kpop group, the Saja Boys, and steal the devotion of Hunt/X fans as well as their souls. This is one of the most imaginative animated films visually in recent memory, and could probably have played very well in theaters.

Action -in fans for a banquet this month on Netflix. Just a few months after the last mission: an impossible film strikes theaters, the first five films in the franchise are now streaming on Netflix. Look out for Jeanne Goursaud After her performance in the German Acting Excitement movie Extravagant. Goursaud showed some real action chops while playing the former Surfanist Sara Wulf, a widowed mother of a young boy named Josh (Rickson Guy Da Silva). During a routine visit to American Consulate in Germany, Josh goes missing. More scary, the security photos have been changed to make him appear that Josh had never gone with Sara to the consul.
As German police are helpless to find her son, Sara takes issues to her own hands and goes deeper into the consul in search of Josh. Dougray Scott He has a dark walk like Erik Kynch, one of the consul’s chief security officers. His job is to ensure that Sara’s search ends permanently.

3. ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ (2025)

In the age of CGI animation, it is refreshing that the title of an old school is like Wallace & Gromit: The Dialedd of Most Birds Still standing out as one of the best of the year. This full -length animated film revisits the eccentric inventor called Wallace (Ben Whitehead) and his faithful dog, gromit.
Netflix’s animated film library is a treasure trove of original content and indie hits. From Kubo and the two teeth to Pinocchio Guillermo del Toro, this Streamer has some of the most artistic, intense animated films that offer great stories for children and adults alike. Thanks! For their latest misfortune, Wallace has invented Gnome Robotic, Norbot (Reece Shearsmith), to take over home tasks. Gromit fears for Norbit were proved to be correct when their old opponent, Feathers McGraw, Norbot Reprograms and the other elves in a plan for revenge and dominance of the world. It’s as silly as it sounds, and we love.

If you have never seen the Japanese active excitement film 1975 The bullet trainDon’t worry. Bullet train explosion is more of a thematic sequence, although he refers to his predecessor now 50 years old. Think about it as Speed on a trainAs a crazy bomber forces the Hayabusa 60 to maintain unsafe speed otherwise everyone on board will be killed. The bomber also demands a great ransom for their lives by everyone in Japan.

The raid director Gareth Evans Introduce another great action thriller in Havoc. Tom Hardy Stars such as Patrick Walker, a manslaughter detective that is disengaged of his fellow -copies and payroll for a local businessman, Lawrence Beaumont (Forest whitaker). There is a gang war brewing among the Chinese Triad, and Beaumont’s son, Charlie (Justin Cornwell), inadvertently in the middle of it.
Charlie and his girlfriend, Mia (QUELIN SEPULVEDA), framed for murdering a Triad leader, and now a price is on their heads. Beaumont wants Walker to find Charlie by all means and defend him, but he doesn’t realize he has become a target as well.
