That may be because the Oscar bait movies are held back until the last part of the year. If that is the case, the list of Netflix’s best original films will look very different at the end of 2025.

Kpop Devil Hunters Maybe hit Netflix’s most amazing smash a year. Despite the title, this is not a production of South Korea, although it lamps the way Kpop groups and Korean TV shows have become a world -wide phenomenon. The story revolves around a popular Kpop action, Huntr/X, whose members doubles as demon hunters when they are not on stage.
However, the lead vocalist, Rumi (Arden cho), secretly in the demon part of herself, and she is afraid to reveal the truth to her fellow. Meanwhile, the Demons discover that they can front their own Kpop group, the Saja Boys, and steal the devotion of Hunt/X fans as well as their souls. This is one of the most imaginative animated films visually in recent memory, and could probably have played very well in theaters.

Look out for Jeanne Goursaud After her performance in the German Acting Excitement movie Extravagant. Goursaud showed some real action chops while playing the former Surfanist Sara Wulf, a widowed mother of a young boy named Josh (Rickson Guy Da Silva). During a routine visit to American Consulate in Germany, Josh goes missing. More scary, the security photos have been changed to make him appear that Josh had never gone with Sara to the consul.
As German police are helpless to find her son, Sara takes issues to her own hands and goes deeper into the consul in search of Josh. Dougray Scott He has a dark walk like Erik Kynch, one of the consul’s chief security officers. His job is to ensure that Sara’s search ends permanently.

In the age of CGI animation, it is refreshing that the title of an old school is like Wallace & Gromit: The Dialedd of Most Birds Still standing out as one of the best of the year. This full -length animated film revisits the eccentric inventor called Wallace (Ben Whitehead) and his faithful dog, gromit.
For their latest misfortune, Wallace has invented Gnome Robotic, Norbot (Reece Shearsmith), to take over home tasks. Gromit fears for Norbit were proved to be correct when their old opponent, Feathers McGraw, Norbot Reprograms and the other elves in a plan for revenge and dominance of the world. It’s as silly as it sounds, and we love.

The raid director Gareth Evans Introduce another great action thriller in Havoc.
