Amanda McCready, aged 4 (Madeline O’Brien) missing, and no one can seem to be found. Media’s feeling follows, with her mother, Helene (Amy ryan), pleading to the cameras for her return. She hires two Boston detectives, Patrick (Casey Affleck) and Angie (Michelle Monaghan), to look for the little girl, but soon they discover that her disappearance may be because of her relationship with a dangerous drug dealer. With too many suspects and not enough clues, Patrick and Angie have to solve an impossible cause and save Amanda before it’s too late.

Huge critical hit in 2007, Baby gone is a gripping crime excitement film that never spare the tension – or the social commentary. It’s one of the few movies to get Boston City Life right, and that’s because of the director Ben AffleckA native who knows the rhythms and cadence of the city well. In addition to the great performance, nominated for Oscar by Ryan as Amanda’s white litter mother, the film has a truly surprising end that will be in your frustration in a good way. It’s a great excitement film that will make you care what happens to Amanda, even if the result is not what you want it to be.
