The 6.2 earthquake struck near Istanbul, shaking the buildings in the largest city in Turkey and pushed people to the apartment.

The earthquake on Wednesday was measured at a depth of 6.92 km (4.3 miles), according to Turkey’s emergency service.

The scale of impact and damage is still unclear, without urgent reports of victims.

The epicenter of the earthquake, which struck at 12:49 local time (09:49 GMT), was located in the Silirai area, about 80 km (50 miles) west of Istanbul.
