5000 trucks are waiting for registration at the border of Rafa

Palestics Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badry Abdelatti made their first visit to Egypt’s border crossing.

This is the only point of gas entry, which deals with another state except Israel, but access to gas from there is now closed and under Israeli military control.

Long queues of trucks loaded with materials are expected to be cleaned through another Israeli crossing nearby.

The UN says more and more food comes into gas after the images of starving children have caused international indignation. But they say that much more assistance needs to be logged and much faster.
