Jack has been raised believing that there is no world outside a “room,” space where he and his mother live – and it’s amazing to watch him experience the outside world for the first time as he tries to help his mother escape.

Although the story seems bleak, there is a wonderful amount of hope and joy that comes from this poignant film. The tears you shed probably because you are inspired by Jack’s journey rather than depressed.

You can’t get a list of movies worthy of sob without at least one Pixar movie. In this family film, Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) Loves music in a family banning music. Although he loves his family-especially his poor grandmother Coco-he is rushing against their rules and expectations. When his attempts to follow his musical dreams lead to getting stuck in the land of the dead, he partners with a street skeleton ((Have a bernal garcía) to find their way back to the living world.

It was difficult to choose which Pixar movie is the largest rearkerker but Cocoa wins out because of his transferable themes of family, loss and legacy. This beautiful film showcases the power of music, stories and memories to offend generations. Make it part of your regular “crying movie” rotation.

‘My old ass’ (2024)

My old ass is a type of time traveling film, a type of teenage ROM-Com-and completely sobfest. He follows Elliott (Maiy Stella. Nashville), a young girl enjoying her last summer before college with her two best friends. When she takes some magic mushrooms, she winds up and talks to an older version of herself (Aubrey Plaza). But when “Old Elliott” does not disappear after the mushroom journey ends, “Young Elliott” begins to seek advice by itself in the future.

There are many extremely funny moments in this poignant film-but the highlight of the film is absolutely encouraging. Still, in line with the theme of the story, it’s best to enjoy something amazing and then mourn it than not to prove it at all.

‘The Spectacular Now’ (2013)
