“If you could go back in time, what would you say to your younger self?” My old ass Not the first movie to ask this question, but this may be the best.
In this story of age, Elliott (Maiy Stella. Nashville) takes mushrooms with some friends and winds up seeing and talking to an older version of herself (Aubrey Plaza), who she labeled “my old ass” in her phone. But when “Old Elliott” does not disappear after the mushroom journey ends, Young Elliott is starting to seek advice from himself in the future. As she navigates last summer before college, Elliott re -evaluates her relationships with everyone in her life – from her family, to her own pressures.
Plaza and Stella are tapped into each other’s performances until they are somehow credible as the same character, though they don’t look much alike. That alone is an impressive achievement, but add a great musical sequence where Elliott portrays Justin BieberAnd you have magic.

This Ryan gosling A movie has a bit of everything. It’s funny, romantic and has a great deed – but core to it, it’s a mystery for a missing movie star.
Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a double stunt forced to retire after an accident on the set broke his back. Also pushed Jody (Emily Blunt)))the woman she loves, and has disappeared from Hollywood. But when Jody has a chance to direct his first big film, the producer Gail (Hannah Waddingham. Ted lasso) Ranks foal to find the movie’s main lost actor (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), for which Colt made stunts.
Soon, Colt finds himself full of wild conspiracy that includes drug deals, murder and alien uniforms. He is forced to rely on his stunt skills at real life risk to reveal the truth and save Jody’s film.
The falling guy Full of surprises, and every car flip, zipline stunt and explosion roam the fun. It is a love letter to filmmaking heroes – especially stunning performers. (Did you know they Finally going to start having an oscars?) Be hooked for every moment of this wild ride.

This submarine film from Saturday night live‘S the island comedy company lonely (Andy Samberg. Akiva Schaffer and Joma Taccone) Box office bomb, but has since developed a well -deserved cult following. Samberg plays an immature singer/rapper “Conner4real,” a pop star who rose to Stardom as part of a band called “The Style Boyz” with his two best friends (Schaffer and Taccone). When Conner’s newest single album is flops, he tries to reconnect with his old co -bands to recover his Mojo pop star.
Popstar Includes a full soundtrack of comedy songs in Masquerading as Hits Pop. A few standouts are “I’m so humble” (including Adam Levine), “Equal rights” (including P! Nk) and a completely absurd number called “Finest Girl (Bin Laden Song).” You have to see him to understand.
Have said in a fake and full-style style of Cameos by the greats of comedy and music (Maya Rudolph. Sarah Silverman. “Weird Al” Yankovic and Mariah Careyto name but a few), Popstar essential to any obsessive pop culture.

Written by Diablo cody (Junn, Jennifer’s body) and directed by Robin Williams‘Girl Zelda Williams In its first appearance feature movie, this horror ROM-com is a tribute to ’80s movies as Teen wolf, heathers and Beetlejuice. In 1989, Lisa swallows (Kathryn Newton. Ant-Man and WASP: Quantumania) mourns the death of her murdered mother and tries to adapt to her new father and herd-sister, the sweet but clueless taffy (Liza Soberano).
Lisa has a morbid obsession with the grave of a young man in a local cemetery, but she never expected a lightning strike to bring him to life (or at least, the approximation of life). Lisa’s attempts to hide the creature (Cole Sprouse) lead to a series of increasingly violent events.
Lisa Frankenstein A feast of late 80s fashion, horror and funny performances. He is a spiral and absurd and abominable. Newton and Sprouse sell their increasing romance, even as Lisa is still craving for a “bad boy” pupil (Henry Eikenberry). Sprouse is remarkably expressive as the non-verbal creature, succeeding in conveying its full emotional spectrum with no dialogue.
Lisa Frankenstein It’s not as great as Cody’s too low horror comedy, Jennifer’s bodyBut it’s an enjoyable sequence you won’t want to miss.
