Sci-Fi fans should be very happy with their streaming options in June. It is not every month that two well -made science fiction flicks go straight to streaming!
This month, Netflix and Crush Holds two very different animated sci-fi films.
In the meantime, Max is the streaming home for one of Sci-Fi’s sleeping 2025 hits. And that film may go down as a cult classic in the genre.

‘Predator: killer killers’ (2025)

Have you ever wanted to see a predator fighting Ninja or Samurai? If so, you’re in luck. Hulu discusses an animated animated new predator film called Predator: killer killers. One of the stories included in the film will feature the first example of a predator visiting Japan. And let’s say it’s not there to play tourists.

‘Missing in Starlight’ (2025)

Missing in star light is a lovely rendered Korean anime film that deviates more towards romance than sci-fi. But the way it envys almost a future world from Korea can remind you Blade Runner. In-young (Kim tae-ri) has been dreaming of becoming an astronaut to contact her late mother, an innovative astronaut who died during the first attempt of humanity to reach Mars.
Finally Nan-Young finds someone to contact emotionally with her when she meets Jay (Hong Kyung), a type of boy who values the older analogue technology in their lives. Romance, it turns out, is quite easy between kind spirits. The only tension that arises between them is when Nan-Young is chosen for the mission next to Mars, and Jay is worried she may not make him back home.

Companion is Iris’s love story (Sophie Thatcher) and Josh (Jack quaid). Josh is everything for Iris, and it means the world for her. They’ve done all the ROM-COM things together, like walking in the park and cooling out in front of the TV. But the same revelation that could kill their relationship is that Iris is not real. She is an advanced Android AI who can convince human behavior.
Looking forward to everything on Hulu in June, it looks like it will be a big month for the Streamer.
