The fourth of July celebrates the birth of America as a nation, and that nation was born out of war.
War films should not glorify the extreme loss of life that comes with an armed combat, but they remind someone of the soldiers who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of the nation and the world.
To honor that sacrifice, the Watch with us The team have selected the three war films that must be watched to stream on the fourth weekend of July.
These three films can be found Netflix.

1917 is one of the rare films in the First World War to be made in the 21st Century, and the Director Sam Mendes Masterfully creates the illusion that the whole film was shot in just two very long characters. (The reality is slightly different.) On the threshold of great offensive against the German army, British intelligence discovers that their forces are attracted to a fatal trap. With battlefield communication lines, Lance Corporals will be in Schofield (George Mackay) and Tom Blake (Dean-charles chapman) Agree to transfer the message to the command officers.
For Blake, this journey is personal and his brother is on the front line of the forces that can be killed if they do not arrive in time to stop the battle. But without resources from the British Army or anyone to support them, this can be a one -way journey for both soldiers.

Matt Damon reunite with Jason Bourne director Paul Greengrass over Greena film inspired by a factual account of the second war in Iraq by Rajiv chandrasekaran. It is not supposed to be a documentary and a dramatic freedom is taken. Roy Miller from Damon is not Jason Bourne, but he is an increasingly frustrated soldier because of his mission to find WMD evidence in Baghdad.
One of the remaining Iraqi generals, Mohammed Al Rawi (Yigal Naor), may be the answers that Miller is looking for. However, the battle for the control of Iraq is far from finished, and Miller’s search seems to be damaged by the US Department of Defense Department Officer Clark Poundstone (Greg Kinnear). Miller has been asking too many questions, which could undermine all the justification of the war.
