Growing up is difficult but when you have parents like Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson), it is a bit easier to navigate. In this excellent adjustment of Judy BlumeAn innovative novel of the same name, Margaret is in an age when she learns about mysterious “adult” things, such as dating and menstruation. Helps her in her journey is her mother -gu, Sylvia (Kathy Bates), which console it when the family moves from New York City to a suburb in New Jersey. Margaret will have to inform being a new child in a new town while also dealing with the dangers of adolescents.
