‘Mickey 17’ (2025)

This film by the Director Bong joon ho Didn’t get the critical acclaim of Parasite or Okja – it holds a score of 77 percent on rotten tomatoes to Parasite‘s 99 – and its box office numbers are common at best. However, we were delighted with this strange sci-fi flic for the “expendable” space explorer Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson).
In trying to escape a loan shark, Mickey and his friend Timo (Steven yeun) Join a mission to colonize a new planet led by narcissist politician Kenneth Marshall (Mark Ruffalo). But because he has little transferable skills, Mickey only qualifies – his job is to have fatal missions, only to be “reprinted” as a clone afterwards. When a mixture leads to two versions of Mickey running around the spacecraft, each fighting for his right to survive-to understand the threat their mission causes the intelligent creatures who already live on the planet. Mickey 17 Funny, clever and unexpected, with that special bong Joon Ho Flair.
Sci-fi is more than Star Wars, aliens and murderer robots. Science fiction writers and directors may be traffic in the great, but the best sci-fi stories have something to say about the present we live in. ‘Logan’ (2017)

You don’t have to be X-Men Van to appreciate Hire. This action movie from A complete unknown director James Mangold It has plenty of blood, gut and powers, but it feels more like western or western comic book story. He follows Logan, formerly known as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), in almost the dystopian future where his powers fade and he and his former mentor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) barely hang on their lives.
Logan and Charles find a young girl, Laura (to protect of Its dark materials), which was cloned based on DNA Logan. The corporation created Laura is trying to track it down, and it is up to Logan to help him escape freedom. What follows is the dissatisfied story of a father-anchor about love, trauma and legacy.
At the time, Jackman’s intention Hire to be his last performance as Wolverine, though he came back to portray a different version of the character in Deadpool & Wolverine. Hire Farewell to worthy, though tragically, with the claw hero, Gruff. Meanwhile, Keen brings a fascinating ferocity to Laura with every snarl and slice of her claws, while continuing to imbu with heartbreaking vulnerability. Both performances are worth watching.

‘Disobedient’ (2018)

Though it is much more base than Hire or Mickey 17. Disobedient -to Also inviting viewers to the world they may not be familiar with it – an Orthodox Jewish community in London. Ronit Kruschka (Rachel Weisz) returns to this community after her father’s death, despite living a secular life in New York for many years. She soon reconnected with her former friend Esti Kuperman (Rachel McAdams), and both are forced to consider their strong emotional and romantic connection.
Disobedient -to is a lovely and powerful story about challenging social expectations and the right to fight for the life you want. Weisz and mcadams are both led in their roles, as it is Alessandro Nivola Like Dovid, husband Esti. The quiet intensity and emotional mood of the film makes it vigilant for character -driven fans.
