‘Sky October’ (1999)

Jake Gyllenhaal had one of his first retiring roles in The sky of Octoberwhich is based on the biography by Horm helicam. In 1957, a young Homer is so inspired by the launch of Sputnik 1 until he decides to become a rocket scientist. That’s easier said than done in a virginian West mining town, especially since Homer’s father, John Hickam (Chris Cooper), expect him to follow his feet as a miner.
Homer eventually finds like -minded friends, including Quentin Wilson (Chris Owen), Roy Lee Cooke (William Lee Scott) and Sherman O’Dell (Chad Lindberg). Together, they start building rockets that have a transformative effect on their lives, and not always for the better. And yet their dreams are too big to be included by such a small town.

‘Come to America’ (1988)

Beverly Hills Cop maybe he’s made Eddie Murphy Star of a movie, but Comes to America is the first Eddie Murphy movie that held the essence of his comedy. Murphy plays several roles in the film, most especially the main character, Prince Akeem Joffer from Zamunda. Akeem has led a very shady life, but knows he will never be happy with the organized marriage set up by his parents, King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones) and the Queen Aoleon lost (Madge Sinclair).
To find a woman who really loves him for herself, Akeem flee to America with his best friend, Semmi (Arseno Hall), and they go indoors as ordinary students. Akeem quickly meets her ideal woman, Lisa McDowell (Shari Headley), but convincing her of his love and value is going to be difficult. Akeem may have left Zamunda behind, but it is only a matter of time before his parents caught up with him.

Consider that Reservoir dogs is the first -length feature film by Quentin TarantinoIt is remarkably caught well over three decades after its release. Tarantino even plays a slight role as Mr Brown, one of the unknown thieves recruited by Local Crime Head Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney) And his son, “Nice Guy” Eddie Cabot (Chris Penn).
Following theft gone wrong, Mr Orange (Roth’s team) seriously wounded, Mr White (Harvey Keitel) is furious, Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) In Baranoo and Mr. Blonde (the recent Michael Madsen) is a psychotic. One of these men betrayed the others, and the reasons why becoming apparent as the narrative jumped back and forth in time. The classic 70s soundtrack in this flic is also one of the best reasons to watch.
