This Easter weekend, you might want to slow down from egg hunting and cooking ham to watch a movie with your family.
If so, hop on down the Bunny path to Netflix to watch one of the fun, friendly children’s films that adults will surely love too.
Not only do these three flicks contain rabbits (of one type or another), they have great messages, fun writing and fascinating stories.

In this film, legendary figures like Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), The fairy of the teeth (Isla Fisher), The Sandman and Bunny of Easter (Hugh Jackman) Use their powers in secret to protect children as childhood guardians. Jack Frost (Chris Pine) has never wanted the responsibility of being a guardian and claims not to care if children believe in it. But when the bad boogeyman (Jude’s law) starts using nightmares to prevent children from believing in the guardians, weakening their powers, Jack must step up to the plate and protect the wonder, memories, dreams and hope of the children of the world.
The progress of guardians Includes beautiful animation, fun visual gags (the non-verbal sand man uses sand to communicate in pictures, which is always entertaining) and a powerful message about the beauty of childhood innocence. It’s a good watch at any time of the year, but Stoic Jackman’s Easter Bunny Performance means you have to look at it for the holidays.

In an imaginative world that fits future technology with medieval knights, kings, and queens, Nimona (Chloë Grace Moretz) is a girl who does not fit in. She is a shaper, who can become any animal. (She makes that constantly-and funny-throughout the film.) When a commonly born knight Ballister Boldeart (Rice ahmed) framed for killing the queen (Lorraine Toussaint), Nimona sees a kind spirit in the “villain” and declares himself in his side. Nimona is mischievous and destructive, with love for fighting and chaos. Ballister has no desire to be a villain, but the more he learns about the circumstances of the Queen’s death, the more he realizes that his kingdom is not the perfect place he believed.
As they join to experience the innocence of Ballister and take down the Director of the Villain of the Elite Knights (Frances Conroy), Ballister and Nimona form true friendship. Nimimon Includes a creative, chaotic animation style, an important message about being true to yourself and an ending twenty that will bring a tear to your eye.
