Holidays can be chaotic – cooking, hosting, cleaning or traveling can be pulled out of you when all you really want is to spend time with your family.
This Easter, if you need a break from egg hunting, you may want to open Hulu and wear one of these great films. They all have joy and renewal themes and are perfect to watch during the spring holidays.
‘The Sound of Music’ (1965)

This classic musical is usually watched at Christmas, but it’s great for Easter watches too. Maria (Julie Andrews), a nun with a passion for music and nature, is sent to work as governance to the salty captain von trapp (Christopher Plummer) Seven children.
Maria helps the Von Trapps to rediscover joy, love and music while falling in love with the captain along the way. The unforgettable songs will enchant younger children. For older audiences, the location and time of the film gives her more serious commitments as it happens in Austria as the Nazi regime is rising to power.
Rejecting the Von Trapp family to abandon their values in the face of fascism is particularly inspiring when you know it is inspired by a true story. This family film is about much more than “Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens” – but you will find yourself singing those words long after the film ends.
Hulu may be under the Disney umbrella, but there are no restrictions on the comedy films that they are allowed to stream. ‘Mrs. Suspicion ‘(1993)

Robin Williams At his best, Motor, Motor-Mouthed in this funny movie, who won the Golden Globe for the best actor in a comedy or musical. Williams plays Daniel, an irresponsible actor whose recent split is in Miranda (Field sally) Left him unable to spend time with their three children. Unable to find regular work, which is a condition of a better custody agreement, Daniel is in line with a wild plan. He hides herself as an elderly woman from Scotland called Iphigenia Doubtfire and becomes a nanny and keeps his children’s house.
In disguise, Daniel gains a better understanding of his family, including his ex-wife, but is always in danger of being discovered, leading to several absurd scenes where he has to change back and forth between his two persons. Nestled within the barnal humor, however, is a thoughtful story about divorce and how families can rebuild after a marriage ends.
Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday to celebrate family and banquet – it’s a perfect excuse to stream your favorite Christmas movies throughout the week. ‘Ferngully: The Last Rainforest’ (1992)

It is a shame that this animated film never reached the status of some of its Disney cousins or Dreamworks. It’s about a load of fairytale living in a rainforest in Australia. When a young logger named Zak (Jonathan Ward) is accidentally contracted to fairytale by crystal apprentice congestion (Samantha Mathis), he joins the Fairies’ attempt to save the rainforest from a bad, polluting entity called Hexxus (Tim Curry).
The forest is home to a vibrant variety of creatures, most especially Batty Koda (Robin Williams – Is there any children’s film that was not improved by her presence?), Her time is experimented with a lab made crazy in a troubled, dear way.
Many filmmen flock to their local theater to watch Minecraft, an adaptation of the popular video game with Jason Momoa and Jack Black stars.
