Elizabeth Moss is one of the best actresses around, which can promote very right material even fine with its talent. The cover is not as great as its previous shows West wing. Mad men or The story of the Handmaid VirginBut he is still pretty good for what he is.
Moss stars as an imogen, an MI6 agent that goes indoors to find out if Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan) is the terrorist actually whose bosses believe it is. But as the two women bond when traveling across Europe, Imogen is not so sure she can trust anyone – not her employers, not Adilah, not even her own memories. With an upcoming terrorist attack, Imogen will have to rely on his intuition, and overcome quite significant trauma, to prevent innocent civilian deaths.
The cover Starts strongly but runs out of steam near the end, but it is still an immersive spy drama that will keep you guessing until the end. It’s a moss, however, that makes it all worthwhile – its imogen is just as complex, empathic and frustrating with its peggy and offred.
