According to Gosa, Purvis did not reach the location until after 4:15 pm, and by then the funeral was already underway. She said Purvis family members, including her mother, attended the service.

In a second mail, Whitney added, “Rest in peace, my Weston baby. I love you forever, precious. I will never understand why life must be so cruel. You will always be a baby for me.”
