One of Netflix’s most under -complete series, Sweet magnolias Isn’t there anything more than an enjoyable play about good people doing good things. That sounds boring, but throughout his four seasons, the show has provided plenty of entertaining moments to stay in one of the original’s original original shows.
The show focuses on the friendship between three friends: Maddie Townsend (Joanna Garcia Swisher), Mum recently separated from her husband Bill (Chris Kleine)); Helen Huntsville (Heather Headley), a successful attorney considering a career change; and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott), A chef who runs his own restaurant. The three women steer life, love and everything between them while living in a beautiful south Carolina town.
Sweet magnolias is a romantic escape, but it is done well, and the three leaders are truly charming. The fourth season performed for the first time on February 6, 2025 and with its continued success, it is bound to return for another term.
