Here is my wish list for the incoming Trump administration make America healthy, prosperous and great again in 2025.

1. Eliminate job-killing regulations

A normative state is a $2 trillion in tax on the American economy. We all want worker safety, a clean environment, and consumer protection, but in too many cases the cost of regulation far outweighs the benefit to society. President-elect Donald Trump has promised to cut 10 regulations for every new rule. Just do it, Mr. President.

2. Make the Trump tax cuts permanent

As JFK, Ronald Reagan and others have proven throughout history, lower tax rates lead to more growth, more investment and more jobs. Trump’s tax cuts meant that the average family of four earning $75,000 a year saw their taxes cut in half — a benefit estimated at more than $2,000. And the corporate tax rate dropped from 35%—the highest in the world—to 21%, bringing jobs and capital to America. Trump has promised to make all of these tax cuts permanent. why? Because they worked almost exactly as we expected.

3. Replace welfare with work

Growth will require more able-bodied Americans to get off welfare and get a job. Social Security, which includes cash assistance, public housing, food stamps, disability benefits, unemployment benefits, and Medicare, should be a hand up, not a handout.

4. Use America’s abundant natural resources

America has more than $50 trillion in natural resources that are accessible through existing drilling and mining technologies. It is a vast treasury of riches far surpassing that possessed by any other nation. We can use royalties and leasing to reduce our national debt while creating hundreds of thousands of jobs.

5. Reduce medical costs by requiring transparency in health care prices

One of the many ways to lower health care costs for consumers (and taxpayers, who pay half the cost) is to require hospitals, pharmacies, doctors and medical clinics to display the prices of what they charge. The Committee to Unleash Prosperity estimates that $1 trillion to $2 trillion could be cut in health care costs without reducing the quality of care by allowing consumers to shop online for better prices—just as we do when we buy groceries. , house or car. This promotes free competition in the market and lower prices.

6. Allow school choice for all families

Test scores in America are plummeting. Kids graduate from high school—when they graduate—without even being able to read their diploma. America is no longer in the top 10 in many rankings of academic achievement.

A child can get a better education for half the cost in the Catholic school system and in many charters.

Trump supported universal school choice for all children regardless of income, ethnicity or race. This is the civil rights issue of our time.

7. Implement a pro-American immigration policy

Trump strives protecting our border but we also need legal immigrants through a merit-based immigration system. This visa system will select immigrants based on their skills, talents, investment capital, English language skills and education level. All these characteristics predict success in America.

8. Revive America’s great cities

Our once great cities in America – from New York to Chicago to Detroit to San Francisco to Seattle – have come to look like war zones. Crime was rampant. Businesses, people and capital are fleeing and leaving the poorest Americans — mostly minorities — stranded with tragically limited options beyond a minimum wage job at Walmart or McDonald’s. Since 2020, our major cities have lost almost 1 million residents. And tens of thousands of enterprises.

Trump wants to revitalize our cities and neglected rural areas through deregulation, lower tax rates, changes in zoning policies, and investment in infrastructure.

9. Withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement on climate change and other anti-American agreements

We must end American involvement in the globalist treaties that hurt America the most. This includes the Paris climate accords, a treaty that most other countries have failed to comply with, but which imposes a huge burden on American companies and workers. Trump has also promised to end global taxation — such as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s global minimum tax. Do we need the UN at all?

10. Finally drain the swamp

There’s a reason three of America’s five richest counties are in or around Washington, DC. Washington is getting richer at the expense of all of us. Less than 10% of overpaid federal workers (of which there are more than 2 million) work full-time in the office, even though COVID-19 ended three years ago. These are Swamp employees who are often paid $150,000 or more a year. Fire them if they don’t show up. And move federal agencies to other cities.

It must be recognized that these are bold aspirations for economic transformation towards freedom and free enterprise. But the only person who can do that is Trump.
